Winter is approaching right around the corner. With this cold weather blowing in, it's hard to look cute while still keeping warm and cozy. Buzz Magazine has got you covered once again!
One way to spice up your outfits is to layer, layer, layer. Layering items is very simple but it can completely change your outfit. You can layer two shirts on top of each other, or you can layer different accessories such as scarves and necklaces. In the look shown, I paired a colorful collared shirt with a plain sweater. This adds warmth while still being stylish.
For another look I chose a green scarf with a black sweater, again following the pattern of adding a pop of color.
An additional easy look for all seasons is a dress. Dresses are always a hit, but it is hard to stay warm when your legs and arms are bare. I added a pair of tights to cover my legs and a jacket or cardigan to cover my arms.
Trending jackets this season are parkas, pea coats, bomber jackets, utility styles, or a denim coat. Cardigans come in every style, but long versions have recently been a huge hit.
The final fashion look for the colder weather is boots because who can get through winter without them? There are so many different styles. Some of my favorites are ankle boots, side zip booties, mid calf boots, over-the-knee boots, or the classic combat boots. These are a staple piece to have in your winter wardrobe and they add a little spice to your look. Throw on a pair of woven knee high socks under your boots and you are ready to go!
This next look is not only super cute, but comfortable too. On top of black leggings, I wore a dark yellow knit sweater from Hollister. I went with black combat boots for shoes, paired with black socks peeking out of the top.
Another look I love is pairing a gray, sleeveless dress with a half-turtleneck I got from Wet Seal. I partnered outfit with black tights and some ankle-boots. This look is so versatile and can be dressed up or down for all events.
My next look is a long-sleeve maroon dress from Garage. I accessorized with a gold necklace and an Alex and Ani bracelet to spice it up. Finally, I wore black tights and combat boots.
My last look is great for casual events. I wore army green jeans from Tilly’s with a black tank underneath a long-sleeve, hooded denim jacket. This look was finished off with my favorite booties.
With this outfit inspiration guide you are ready to take on the cold weather like a pro.
