Skincare is such a personal and unique thing that everyone can perfect once you know what works best for your skin. I have combination skin which causes my nose, cheeks and forehead to be oily and the rest of my face to be normal to dry. This month I found that the following products worked best for my skin type and they could possibly work out for you too!
- Cleansers/Scrub and Moisturizer
My favorite facial cleanser for this past month has been the Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Daily Face Wash, it has done an amazing job clearing out my pores and preventing acne. I would recommend the face wash to anyone, but if you do have very dry skin I would steer away from using it or use a very hydrating moisturizer after. My next favorite was the St.Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub as it really exfoliated my face. This scrub got rid of any dead skin I had, while also treating my acne and preventing any new breakouts. After I washed and scrubbed my face, I liked to use Cliniques’ Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. This moisturizer left my skin feeling very smooth and hydrated.
- Spotlight Brand
A great brand I have been loving for a while now is Mario Badescu. Mario Badescu has a great variety of products that are categorized into groups of skin types so you can find what products you need and will work best for your skin. The pricing is very affordable for the amount of product you get and for how well they work. My two favorites of this month were the drying lotion and rosewater spray. The drying lotion is applied as a spot treatment with a cotton swab and placed on any pimples you may have. You leave the product on overnight and then wake up to almost all of the pimples that you applied the drying lotion to gone. The rosewater spray is a great product to have to calm your skin and use as a light setting spray. I am a huge fan of these products and hope they give you great results too!
