'Tis the season for everything winter and Christmassy, and (of course) Bath and Body Works has a scent for every little thing that reminds us of this holiday season. If I were to review all of them I would be about $250 in debt and have enough bath products to last me a lifetime, so I picked a few new ones and couple all-time favorites.
This candle is a new favorite of mine. Sweater Weather is new to their signature collection of candles, which means it will be available every year around this time. It is a lighter scent that is very relaxing when lit. It smells like a mix between pine needles and a new cashmere sweater from Abercrombie & Fitch. Lighting this candle with another works great-- it blends perfectly with so many other aromas.
Pumpkin spice lattes may be the typical cold day-hot drink beverage of choice, but mine has always been a Starbucks vanilla chai tea latte. The smell of a warm latte is so cozy which makes it a perfect scent to fill your room-- a little bit of vanilla and a pinch of cinnamon. Bonus: This candle comes in a mason jar. ~Super artsy.~
Every Christmas, my family always goes to the Christmas tree farm to cut down a tree and adventure around in the snow. This candle turns that experience into a smell. Fresh snow, citrus pine, the woods, all wrapped into a tiny mason jar candle for $10. Winter is the perfect candle for winter, ha!
The smell of pine needles is on the list of the top 10 things that make me happy. They smell so fresh and remind me so much of decorating the tree with my friends and family. The little candle gives off a subtle scent, which is calming to the frenetic energy that seems to be inevitable by the end of December.
Confession: I bought this candle just because I liked the red glass that surrounded it. Judging a book by its cover, I know I know, but it turned out great. This scent is beautiful-- warm cranberries fill the air in your room as you study. It smells so pure and warm. It reminds me of homemade berry and popcorn trimming for the tree.
I saved the best for last… This is my third year buying this candle, and I got three this year. My addiction is showing! Sparkling Icicles is a pretty strong musky scent, almost like a freshly showered guy wearing just a hint of cologne. Who needs a boyfriend for the holidays when you can have a candle that smells like one, for just $12.50?
