2014 is gone and we all have outfits that should be left behind (What happens in 2014, stays in 2014; #AmIRightLadies?). The new year heralds the question: how is my 2014 wardrobe going to stay current and trendy in 2015? Well, it's not. But keep reading for a selection of #OOTDs that I've painstakingly compiled to help you guys out.
I'm sick of leggings and sweaters. A leather skirt and crop top with an eye-catching scarf (a festive red to combat those Winter Blues perhaps?) will ensure you'll stand out. Wear knit thigh-high socks to stay warm, and pair those thigh-highs with closed-toe wedges to make your legs look longer than this freakin' winter feels.
It’s Flannel Friday! Okay, yeah, it's not Friday... but c'mon, we all know flannels are the best. Pay homage to your fave flannel with a skirt and booties.
P.S. Hat girls: it's your time to shine.
If you're too low-key for that last outfit, try something in this direction. Slouchy ripped jeans with a shimmery sweater is a fashionable alternative to the basic white girl's outfit algorithm:
sweater + black leggings + combat boots = cute?
You could wear this casual outfit anywhere that you would wear the basic b---- look, and I promise you'll look 100x better.
Welcome to 2015.
