Fashionable Finds For Your Holiday Wish List

One of the most hectic times of the year of course includes the stressful task of writing up your holiday wish list. Deciding between that beautiful $130 Topshop coat and those stunning $150 Steve Madden boots can be a daunting task. So, how do you make up your mind?

I only pick pieces that I know are an absolute necessity. For example, I know I’m going to need a simple (preferably cream) cable knit sweater because, as I write this, I shiver at the thought of a Pennsylvanian December while it already feels like -30 in November. Plus, cable knit sweaters are a timeless staple in any girl’s wardrobe.

Which leads into my next point: keep your wishlist to classic pieces. If you’re going to have someone go out and buy a gift for you that may be slightly (way) more expensive than you would usually spend, you need to know you’re going to love it for a long time. Those $150 Steve Madden boots I mentioned above will never go out of style. Riding boots in general are worth the investment because they’ve been around for decades and, as the Ghost of Christmas Future knows, they will be around for years to come.

Still feeling fashionably frazzled? Take a look at my wish list for a little more inspiration!

1. Sweaters, Sweaters, and you guessed it, more sweaters! Honestly, I love winter just because sweaters top the list of my favorite things to wear.

2. A classic staple in any wardrobe: Jeans. I wear jeans almost everyday because the right pair is comfortable and makes you look put together. This year I really want a pair of distressed jeans, since I surprisingly don’t own a single pair!

3. An Army Green Jacket. Yet another staple that I unfortunately don’t own yet, and yet another piece that is on trend year after year.

4. Last but certainly not least, a classic tartan scarf. I love the high-end look, and a good quality one will probably last me forever!
